This database is useful in finding your current member of Congress, or any historic member. You can also use search tools to examine a particular term of Congress, or members form a certain state, in a certain era.
The info is concise, however, and accurate. Each entry is sort of like the member’s resume with dates of election and/or taking office.
This site does contain some officials outside of Congress, especially if in high federal office.
